Cara C. Singeltary
Attorney
Cara Singeltary, a resident of Leesburg, Florida. For her undergraduate studies, Attorney Singeltary attended and matriculated from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas with a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Management and a Minor in Spanish (a language she speaks proficiently).
After graduating from SMU, Attorney Singeltary began her professional career with Nationwide Insurance; ultimately, though, she found that law was her calling. In 2007, Attorney Singeltary returned to Florida where she earned her Juris Doctor from Florida Coastal School of Law in Jacksonville. Bret Jones, P.A. was proud to announce her joining the firm in March of 2011.
Attorney Singeltary is licensed to practice law in the State of Florida and she is active in the practice and litigation of real estate, mortgage foreclosure, business transactions, intellectual property, aviation, art, sports, and entertainment law.
During law school, Attorney Singeltary served as president of the Entertainment Law Society, was a Student Bar Associate Representative, and served as an Honor Court Justice. She also received her Certification in Legal Research and Writing and was identified as one of the top oral advocates among her peers. Attorney Singeltary is active in the Lake County Young Lawyer's Association, is an active member of Entertainment, Arts, and Sports Law (EASL) Section of the Florida Bar and is a member of St. Paul's Catholic Church in Leesburg, Florida.
